WILD EARTH HERBS FOUNDER

Plants have been our allies for centuries and in a time where folk offer theories and opinions based on book learning, Bec is an active practitioner of traditional western herbalism. Through connecting with the earth and these allies Bec focuses on womens health and calls on womyn to reconnect with this powerful innate wisdom, to reconnect with the healing powers of these green allies.

Becs’ background in botany and gardening have allowed her to journey 5 continents in pursuit of herbal connection. She has been practicing the art and science of plant healing for over a decade and although her allies teach her more than anyone else she has had the priviledge of training particularly with medical and community herbalists in North America including Chanchal Cabrera (who she studied and apprenticed with) , Wild Seeds School of Herbal Studies (where she learned phenomenal medicine making skills) , Rosemary Gladstar, Aviva Romm and Paul Bergner. She has also taken many classes with awesome herbalists such as Della Rice Sylvester (Cowichan Elder) and Ryan drum.

Presently she is learning with Wiradjuri elder MinMia and connecting in with her indigenous roots.

Bec is a farmer, medicine maker and community herbalist with strong ties in earth based spirituality. She is a Sundancer, Reiki Master, birth doula, Jap Sen Master (nerve-touch massage), mud, dog, animal, food, ocean and mountain lover, conservation biologist and bush regenerator.

Inspired by a need for greater connection among her regional community she founded Wise Women Conference in 2017 and Rad Herb in November 2018.

Dont Just Take Our WOrd For it

“If we surrendered
to earth’s intelligence
we could rise up rooted, like trees

― Rainer Maria Rilke

Bec is extremely passionate about high quality medicine making and works out of her cob apothecary on their permaculture farm Wyndhamfell. She loves to share knowledge around how fun and easy it is to wild craft, ethically harvest plants and make remedies. It is important to her to empower you to take care of yourself and the health of those in your community.
